PROFILE

HOW TO ZOOM IN

Well known in web communities as Kanfu, I was born in Lubumbashi (D.R.C.) in 1979. Passionate stakhanovist, I merge antagonist artistic and scientific fields in my work. I
graduated in Biomedical Sciences (ULg - Belgium) and photography (Institut Saint-Luc - Liege Belgium).

I have experienced many fields such as writing as a journalist (Le Quotidien - Luxemburg) or music as sound designer or drawing as press illustrator. I have also been involved in many exhibitions in Liege (Belgium). In 2008, I decided to dedicate 100 per cent of my time to photography.

I started with different travel reports that highlight the balance between traditions and urban modernism, integration mechanisms and individual identity.

CALL FOR MODELS

EARLY NEWS

I often need models for my work. If you are interested in my work and want to be involved in my projects, feel free to contact me.
I am particulary looking for people (men or women) with big scars. Remains of war, operation, injury. Anything that write a particular story on a body.
I am also looking for men that overweight a little bit. And men around 60 or 70.

I am currently working on a project in Canada about First People. I am travelling between Montreal and Ottawa from June 17 to July 23.
September 11th the ASBL Le Hangar (Liege - Belgium) will organise an exhbition on my latest work. Hope to see you there.
